Modern Warfare 2 AC-130 Co-op Mission
This mission is a BLAST!
This mission is a BLAST!
This past weekend was a pretty good one! We headed down to Kansas City on Friday to spend some time with my aunt and grandma. Then, on Saturday, I took my son to the Nationwide race, where we met up with family. Before the race, we took in FanWalk, which was a lot less crowded than it was on Sunday. The race didn’t really heat up until the end when Joey Logano passed Kyle Busch late to take the checkered flag.
On Sunday, some coworkers picked us up at my grandma’s and we headed to the track. We took in the FanWalk area before driver introductions and Taylor actually got his hat signed by Rick Hendrick! The race was pretty good, with a lot of lead changes. Tony Stewart had an awesome pit stop on the last series of stops and never looked back! Too bad Jimmie didn’t win, but he was competitive for most of the race. Too bad we have to watch the rest of the chase on television!
It’s been nine years since I last saw the Blue Angels perform. Wow! What a show! The flying was just amazing. The air show was really good this year! I just can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!
The Blue Angels – 2009 Offutt AFB Air Show, Bellevue, Nebraska
I’m getting pretty excited about this weekend. The Blue Angels are coming to town and this year looks to be a great show! The weather is supposed to be great too, with highs in the 70s. I just wish I didn’t have to work a booth on Sunday, but that should be a good time too. I’ll be selling Famous Dave’s to raise money for our booster club. I should have some pictures up Saturday or Sunday night!
July 14th marks the end of an era. My wife and I will have fulfilled our two year obligation to “more bars than anywhere” and are planning to make the move to Verizon. I’m not sure exactly when we’ll make the move, as AT&T doesn’t prorate their service. Yesterday began our next billing cycle. How convenient. Regardless, I’m tired of the RAZR and the signal drops I constantly get. More of our friends are on Verizon, so it seems like a smart move. On top of that, we will get more for our money than with AT&T. We’re looking at getting LG phones, the enV 3 and enV Touch. I can’t wait to make the switch!

I then received an email this morning from “PayPal” saying I needed to ship to Nigeria and would be paid once the tracking information was confirmed. It came from “service@paypal.com” (paypalwebpayment@mail2Consultant.com) and was immediately forwarded to PayPal as a spoofed email. Here is a small section of the header:

Needless to say, I don’t think I will be using craigslist anymore….
I seldom wear my uniform when traveling. Typically, I just wear something comfortable. However, when we flew back from St. Louis this past week after a conference, we didn’t have time to change. While in the airport, I was shocked with how many people came up to us, thanked us, and asked us what we did in the military. One woman even came up and gave us a hug! It really made me feel like there are a lot of people out there who appreciate us, the men and women of the United States Armed Forces!
