I recently had an update to my Thunderbolt that I presumed would disable my mobile hotspot feature. Instead, I still had my mobile hotspot, but was now plagued by constant shutdowns on my phone. Hopeful that Verizon would be on top of their game, I checked for an update this morning. Sure enough, a 75 MB update was available. So far, so good. The few things I have noticed thus far: the 3G icon is HUGE, Verizon Mobile is finally on the Thunderbolt, and the loading screen is different. I haven’t checked my hotspot feature yet, but will soon enough. Until that last update, my phone was running well. Let’s hope it is now as smooth as before!
